Emergency Care

 

In the event of pet illness or other medical emergency, we will take your pet to your designated vet. If your specified veterinarian/veterinary facility is unavailable; your pet will be taken to closest available veterinarian/veterinary facility.

 

You, our Client, understands and agrees that attempts will be made to contact you in case of emergency and if you are unreachable, your Pet Sitter has permission to authorize any care that the vet deems necessary for pet's health, safety and survival.

 

Client needs to have a credit card on file with their veterinary facility. Client agrees to reimburse YpsiArborPetsitting.com for any additional fees and all costs relating to vet care during their absence, which may include x-rays, blood work, surgery and/or other possibly expensive procedures, as well as an emergency medical transport fee of $35.00 and a charge of $15.00 per half hour for travel and wait times, or any portion thereof. 

 

For the safety of your pet and others, pets must have current vaccinations including DHPP (distemper-hepatitis-parvovirus-parainfluenza), and Rabies Virus.

 

Should Pet Sitter or a Third Party be bitten or otherwise exposed to any disease or ailment received from Client’s animal, it will be the Client’s responsibility to pay all costs and damages incurred by the victim.
